adidas Men’s Ultimate365 8.5-inch 5-Pocket Short

The fit is decent and they are lightweight but the material blend seems to hold heat in all the wrong places for me. While working outside I’ve noticed heat rash in the waistband and inner thigh area. Not something I encounter with other blends from this same manufacturer.

These shorts have a soft, smooth fabric. They do have some stretch. I purchased my husband’s usual size and they fit him well. He normally wears shorts on the weekends and these are excellent for his around the house time. I launder them with lights and towels for an easy clean in the machine. I would recommend these for active casual outfits.

Adidas is hands-down my favorite sports brand, so maybe I’m a bit biased—but these shorts really do live up to the Ultimate365 name. The material feels premium, as expected from Adidas. It’s soft, has a nice stretch to it, and feels super comfortable even on warmer, humid days here in Florida. Bonus points for being water-resistant, which is always a win when surprise rain showers are a thing!Fit-wise, I ordered a 28 and it feels just a tiny bit roomy—almost like a 29. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, just something to note if you’re between sizes or like a very snug fit. Definitely a true “regular fit,” not slim or baggy.Construction is solid overall, though I did notice quite a few loose threads, which surprised me a little for the price point. Still, nothing unraveled or concerning—just something I wasn’t expecting from a premium piece.The 5-pocket design is practical without feeling bulky, and these definitely have a sleek, modern look. I’d wear them on or off the course—whether I’m playing golf or just out and about.
