This is a lightweight pair of athletic shorts comparable in price and functionality to other brands. Its construction is appealingly solid with no loose threads anywhere. The fabric is a somewhat stretchy material somewhere between swimming trunks and silkier athletic shorts, and the legs are adorned with a small logo and a larger design that are both reflective. There is no liner.I have no complaints with how anything feels, and the cut works fine for my frame (5’5″) with Small fitting as expected. I don’t have experience with any other sizes, but I’d recommend ignoring the size chart and just going with what you normally get, especially since the waistband seems to accommodate quite a bit of stretch. The length measurement appears accurate with the shorts hitting just above my knees.There are reasonably deep invisible zippered pockets on both sides, but this is a double-edged sword. The pockets seem secure enough to contain your valuables without your shorts getting yanked around, but you’ll be able to see the pocket peeking out with a heavier phone inside. I’d assume this is less visible with darker colors, but it’s worth pointing out. Regardless, it’s probably better to secure your phone some other way if you can.
