mens Prodigy Sentinel Hunting Pant

I have 5 arctic shield suits now ranging from the classic elite series parka and bibs to the heat echo stalker jacket and pants. I have now added this jacket and matching pants to my line up. I have been using arctic shield for 12 years now, so I feel like I am field qualified enough to write a review on these items. Here is what I can tell you:Pros:*Typical Arctic Shield: Its warm and its comfortable*They are definitely wind/water proof*I would rate this series as a mid weight garment for Arctic Shield (even though its listed as active fit)*High quality waterproof zippers (everywhere except the boot zippers on the pants)*Good all around camo pattern (real tree aspect)*High Quality soft fleece lining in the pants and jacket. The pants have belt loops in case you prefer them*The hood on the jacket is actually pretty good. It moves with you and doesn’t block your view too bad*The 37.5 technology: I dont understand it, but it friggin works and I love itThe Cons*The jacket wrist cuffs and the storm flaps that cover the zipper boots are Velcro. I HATE Velcro and in my opinion it has no place on hunting clothes. Ever. Period.*Outside of the classic series, Arctic Shield skimps on pockets and I absolutely hate that. There are no inside pockets or expandable pockets on the coat and there are no thigh pockets on the pants (like my H4 jacket). The jacket has 1 chest pocket and 2 hand pockets. The pants have 2 front hand pockets and 1 back pocket. All pockets have waterproof zippers. But I can’t figure out why Arctic Shield skimps on pockets on their hunting clothes.*The material this suit is made from is like nothing I have ever used before. Its a bit noisy for my taste. I dont know if it’s the 37.5 technology or something else, but compared to my other suits it is more noisy. So I would recommend this to stand/blind hunters without hesitation and If thats the case you will be ok. However, the material does has stretch/flexibility to move with you so there is at least a positive offset here.*Sizing: Typical Arctic Shield. It says this these are active fit garments. I am not on board with that. These seem to be closer a regular cut/fit compared to the other active fit garments I have. There is ample layering room under these garments when wearing the correct size (although you wont need much).What I can’t comment on at this point is:*The built in scent control. Does it really work? I am pretty self conscious about this topic. I have never been busted wearing this suit. So is this suit? Is it me with my cautious scent control regimen? Is it a little of both? I cant answer that at this time and only more use will answer that question.All in all, it’s pretty good and I do recommend it but I would give it 5 stars easily if Arctic Shield could address the issues I have brought up.
