Unisex Kids Compression Shirts Set for Girls & Boys,Kids Long Underwear Base Layer Athletic Leggings

I ordered this Unisex Kids Compression Set hoping it would be a good base layer for my 9-year-old daughter during the cold winter months. While the material and concept are good, there are a couple of issues to consider. First, I wish I had sized up. Even though my daughter is petite, she found the compression feel of the set to be too tight and uncomfortable. This is something to keep in mind, especially if your child is sensitive to tight-fitting clothing. Secondly, the leggings are clearly designed with boys in mind. While they are marketed as unisex, the crotch area features an extra panel and stitching to accommodate male anatomy. My daughter found this detail visually unappealing and refused to wear the leggings, even as a base layer. It’s unfortunate, as they would have been perfect for added warmth.The top, on the other hand, would have been great if we had sized up. The material is thin and lightweight, making it ideal for layering. However, due to the sizing issue, it’s not getting much use. I recently discovered the set pushed to the bottom of her drawer, which tells me she’s not a fan. Despite these issues, the set is value-priced and the material is of decent quality. If you’re buying for a boy, or if you’re confident in sizing up and your child isn’t bothered by the fit, this set might work for you. However, for girls, especially those sensitive to fit and design, I’d recommend looking for a more specifically designed option.
